The Volunteering Wirral is dedicated to creating and supporting a culture of volunteering across Wirral by providing a locally delivered quality service.

Volunteers
Volunteering Wirral offers a free information, advice and referral service to anyone who is interested in volunteering. Confidential, one-to-one appointments are available at all a number of offices throughout Wirral. We also produce a monthly email bulletin of new vacancies for volunteers registered with us. 

We manage a Wirral-wide database of over 800 current volunteering opportunities which can also be viewed via our website: www.volunteeringwirral.co.uk or on the National Volunteering Database: www.do-it.org.uk

We offer a wide range of services to over 400 volunteer-involving organisations:
· Help with volunteer recruitment
· Information, advice and guidance on managing volunteers
· Help with developing volunteering policies and practices
· Quarterly email bulletin
· Training on a range of issues affecting volunteer managers

Wirral Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum
We run a quarterly forum for volunteer organisers, providing an opportunity for networking, workshops and information exchange.

Wirral Volunteer Certificate Schemes
We offer a variety of volunteer award schemes which recognise and reward the contribution made by volunteers in Wirral. Awards presented by the Mayor of Wirral at special ceremonies throughout the year.
