Volunteer Centre Liverpool provides a one-stop resource for information, advice and guidance on all aspects of volunteering issues both for potential volunteers and voluntary/community organisations. Volunteer Centre Liverpool actively promotes volunteering in local communities, particularly amongst those traditionally excluded from such opportunities.

Training
Volunteer Centre Liverpool provides information and accredited training on good practice in involving volunteers, is a partner for the Investing in Volunteers (IIV) quality standard and is an awarding centre for ASDAN and is registered with the Open College Network, enabling us to provide accredited training and qualifications for volunteers: Click Here

Trustees
As well as assisting organisations to recruit volunteers, we can also help groups find new trustees and we offer training on trustee recruitment and induction, roles and responsibilities and other governance related topics (in partnership with Liverpool CVS).

Other Specific Events
Volunteer Centre Liverpool gives talks, presentations and displays on volunteering, e.g. for pre-retirement groups, service users groups, students, refugee and asylum seeker support organisations, job centres, etc. A “Volunteer Champion” may also be available to talk about their experience of volunteering; we attempt to match Champions to the target audience, so they are talking to their peers.
